Touchline Workout is a football training game. It has no user accounts, no advertising and does not sell your personal data. Your game progress, name and portrait stay on your device. The app does connect to our server at touchline-workout.shop to load service information, and that connection necessarily exposes some technical data, described below.
To remember your progress between launches the app saves the following in its private container on the device only:
| Data | Purpose | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Player name and position | Shown on your player card and used to weigh your overall rating | Local file |
| Attributes, sessions, scores, stars, XP, coins | Game progression | Local file |
| Locker items, trophies, match results, streak, daily-challenge completion | Game progression | Local file |
| Sound, haptic and reminder preferences | Settings | Local file / app preferences |
| Portrait image (optional) | Displayed on your player card | Local JPEG file, resized on device |
None of this is uploaded to us. It is removed when you use “Reset all progress” in Settings or delete the app. It may be included in your own iCloud or computer backups under the rules you set for iOS backups.
When the app starts it may send a single request to touchline-workout.shop to check for service information. As with any internet request, our server receives:
This request contains no game progress, name, portrait, contacts or advertising identifier. We use this information only to deliver the response and to keep the service secure and working, and server logs are kept for a limited period. The app also checks whether the device is online so it can retry when a connection returns; the network status itself is not sent anywhere.
Some information may be shown to you as a web page inside the app. Like a normal browser, that page may store cookies and website data on your device, and the website you view receives the technical data your browser normally sends (IP address, User-Agent, language). Pages from other websites are governed by their own privacy policies. You can clear this data by deleting the app.
The app asks for camera access only when you choose “Take a photo” for your player-card portrait, and opens the system photo picker when you choose “Choose from library”. The photo picker runs outside the app and only the single image you select is handed over. The image is cropped, resized and saved inside the app’s container. The app never scans your library and never sends images off the device. You can remove the portrait at any time from the Card screen.
If you allow notifications, the app schedules reminders on your device: a daily training call at the time you choose, a streak-at-risk warning and a matchday-unlocked alert. Each reminder can be switched off in the app’s Settings, and permission can be revoked at any time in iOS Settings.
“Share card” renders an image of your player card on the device and passes it to the iOS share sheet. Whatever app or contact you choose from there receives only that image; Touchline Workout does not know or record where it goes.
If you contact us through the support page, we receive the email address, reason and message you enter. We use them only to answer your request and delete them once it is resolved, unless we need to keep them to meet a legal obligation.
The app does not track you across other companies’ apps or websites, does not use the advertising identifier and does not show ads. We do not sell your data. We may disclose information only if required by law or to protect the security of the service.
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or CCPA) you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, or to object to its processing. Because game data lives only on your device, you control it directly. For anything we hold on our side, such as server logs or support messages, send a request through the support page.
The app is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
If our practices change, this page will be updated and the effective date above will move.
